Thomas has significant proficiency in oral advocacy and negotiation and has achieved a number of notable results on behalf of clients. His representative work includes:
successfully obtaining possession of an apartment through a preliminary injunction and contempt complaint
prevailing in multiple oppositions to temporary restraining orders and emergency motions to stay levies in several Departments of the Housing Court and the District Court
drafting a successful opposition to a motion for summary judgment on an appeal of a municipal Zoning Board decision in the Superior Court
negotiating a substantial settlement involving property damage caused by a motor vehicle in the District Court
securing a denial on a motion for real estate attachment in the Superior Court
In addition, Thomas has secured several favorable outcomes in summary process cases, small claims proceedings and has achieved positive results for clients in matters involving Inspectional Services Department complaints.
Through his extensive courtroom experience, disciplined, strategic approach to litigation, and insightful negotiation strategies, Thomas provides clients with effective, well-reasoned counsel designed to protect their interests and support their long-term objectives.
