Bio
Michelle is an Associate Attorney with Krems, Jackowitz & Carman, LLP, with extensive experience representing an array of market and subsidized property owners and management companies in all aspects of their operations. Michelle’s practice encompasses all types of summary process actions, as well as reviewing and drafting lease agreements and resolving complex landlord-tenant disputes or enforcement issues arising from them.
Michelle has successfully handled countless eviction actions, including serving as second-chair in a for-cause eviction jury trial in Housing Court. While she has practiced in nearly every Housing and District Court in Massachusetts, her work also extends to Superior Court, where she handles civil and commercial litigation matters.
Michelle is dedicated to securing the best outcomes for our clients, combining strategic negotiation with zealous courtroom advocacy. She helps clients navigate the risks and costs of litigation, aiming to resolve matters whenever possible, but is always fully prepared to fight vigorously in court when necessary to protect our clients’ interests.
Michelle also serves as an appointed board member of the Permanent Planning Committee in the Town of Chelmsford, where she supports the Town manager in developing financial estimates, designing projects, and overseeing the construction of municipal projects, including contributing to the long-term capital plan for municipal buildings and advising on the lease or sale of surplus municipal buildings.
